Trauma Therapy and EMDR

Trauma can leave the nervous system on high alert and make everyday stressors feel overwhelming. EMDR helps the brain reprocess stuck memories so triggers ease and calm increases. We start with careful preparation, grounding skills then use structured EMDR at a pace that feels safe. EMDR is effective in person and via secure telehealth, using guided eye movements or alternating taps and tones that you can follow on screen. You will leave sessions with simple stabilization tools for between-session use. Clients often report less reactivity, improved sleep, and more confidence in daily life..

Anxiety, Depression, Adult ADHD

When worry, low mood, or executive function challenges get in the way, we use CBT, ACT, and targeted DBT skills to change unhelpful loops, steady emotions, and act on your values even when stress shows up. For anxiety, we combine cognitive restructuring, gradual exposure, and calming skills so avoidance shrinks and confidence grows. For depression, we use behavioral activation to rebuild energy, sleep routines, and meaningful activity. For Adult ADHD, we layer in executive function coaching for planning, task initiation, time management, and follow through, with simple tools you can practice between sessions.

Convenient, confidential, and accessible treatment through telehealth services.

Addictive Disorders

When alcohol or substance use has become a coping strategy and is causing impairment in relationships, work, health, or self-esteem, we will create a plan that fits your life. Treatment blends CBT, ACT, and targeted DBT skills, with EMDR added when trauma or loss is driving the pattern. Together we map triggers and high-risk situations, clarify values and reasons for change, and choose a path that is workable for you, either harm reduction or abstinence.

Shattered Trust, Silent Pain:  Healing from Betrayal Trauma

Betrayal trauma occurs when someone you deeply trust—such as a partner, parent, or authority figure—violates that trust in a profound way. Unlike other forms of trauma, betrayal trauma impacts both emotional safety and one’s sense of reality, often leading to symptoms like anxiety, confusion, hypervigilance, and self-doubt. Survivors may struggle with questions like, “Was any of it real?” or “How did I not see this coming?” This trauma can feel isolating, especially when others don’t fully understand its complexity.

In therapy, I provide a safe, validating space for individuals healing from betrayal trauma. Our work focuses on stabilizing the nervous system, processing the betrayal, rebuilding identity, and restoring self-trust. Whether you’re navigating the aftermath of infidelity, hidden addiction, or emotional manipulation, therapy can help you find clarity, regain your voice, and move forward without self-abandonment. Healing is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone.
